The Best Commercials of the Not-So-Super Bowl

Much like the game itself, this year's Super Bowl ads were.. lackluster, to say the least. Whereas years past have given us gems such as "1984", "The Force" and "the beloved" (or not so much) E*Trade Babies, this year's advertisers left little to take our mind off the Seahawks public shaming of Peyton Manning (not counting the Budweiser puppy, obviously.) This commercial is by far the front-runner of the year for me (granted Super Bowl is two weeks away, but that's here nor there). As marketing continues to evolve, TurboTax kills it by applying an emotional/personal message to this campaign directly targeted at the young demographic. (We kind of dig that stuff.) One of the most popular photo sharing apps out there is now opening up advertising on its platform. Another Apple Announcement – Should We Be Excited?

Apple held its iPad-centric event in San Francisco on Tuesday, about six weeks after its Cupertino iPhone event. The event announced a bevy of products, including new iPads, MacBook Pros, Macs, and more. The largest announcement was probably that of the iPad Air.
