Teddy Bear Den Event Goes Virtual, Stays Meaningful
As so many have had to do this past year, The Teddy Bear Den has had to adapt. Every year, the Teddy Bear Den holds its Celebrity Night Out event, a local celebrity auction to help support an incentive and education program for limited-income pregnant women and their children.
HenkinSchultz has been privileged to be part of the event for the past several years. This year, we were challenged with promoting a completely virtual event due to COVID-19. Our goal was not just to help them sustain fundraising efforts, but make the evening something really special.
We wanted everyone to feel like stars and to let everyone know the show must go on. So, we created the “Lights, Camera, AUCTION” theme, putting the spotlight on the event and featuring a fun movie set design that included:
- Save the Date
- Invite
- Postcard
- PowerPoint Slides
- Program
- Movie Posters
An adorable teddy bear served as our design star. You could say he was our director. Sweet imagery is always a part of design for Celebrity Night Out. But this year, it was especially important to add heart to the event. Just because it was virtual, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be meaningful.
Celebrity Night Out supports the meaningful work of the Teddy Bear Den, promoting healthier pregnancies, healthier babies and an overall healthier community.
