When the South Dakota State University Foundation wanted to announce their largest comprehensive campaign, Bold & Blue, they came to HenkinSchultz to make it shine.

Working with university officials and students, HS planned a production in which live entertainment and projected video would be synchronized at the focal point of the campus. SDSU’s flagship symbol, the 165 feet tall Coughlin Campanile, served as the canvas–and the HS events team was able to paint outside the lines by adding in powerful musical performances from students and faculty.

The massive team effort resulted in a memorable show where visuals were projected right onto the famous structure, capturing the imagination of students of the past, present and future.

These stunning results served as a spark for SDSU’s journey to raise half a billion dollars to support their future, and the HS crew, spearheaded by co-founder Kirby Schultz, was happy to be a part of it.
