Expanded Services Call for an Expanded Marketing Plan

One of the most crucial decisions any business can face is how to go about expanding their service options. There’s a million decisions to make and a lot of moving pieces internally that need to be handled, but make sure you’re minding your marketing strategy as you plot your launch. The Soft Launch Some companies prefer a ‘soft launch’ – this is a slower rollout where a restricted market is able to preview the new product or service before it’s entirely launched to the general public. This can be an effective method if you want to A/B test the response…

First Trust Company – A Seasoned Team Debuts a Fresh New Look

After settling on their new name, First Trust Company asked HenkinSchultz for help in creating a bold new logo. We also refreshed their color palette with a look that spoke to how they’ve been an established presence in their field for years, but that was also an elegant, modern update. This process forced them to look not only at where they were in the marketplace, but who they are as a company. This led to the development of a brand narrative that put First Trust Company’s vision and values down on paper. “Before taking pen to paper or creating even…

Signage Completes the Look at New American Bank & Trust Branch

When South Dakota’s American Bank & Trust announced they were opening up a second Sioux Falls location, HenkinSchultz and the HS Sign Shop were happy to help make the downtown flagship branch look special with some unique art and signage. Our designers and the HS Sign Shop created a frosted glass accent wall that spoke to AB&T’s vision and values – this is the focal point for their space. In addition to signage, they also wanted some distinctive art for their walls. HenkinSchultz, along with Sioux Falls photographer Tom Dempster, photographed and supplied AB&T with some memorable pieces. Another important…

Championing Your Brand

The value of your marketing dollar is much stronger if your advertising is coming from a single voice. At HenkinSchultz, we don’t just focus on branding for your company - we strive, in everything we do, to always be championing your brand. How Do You Stop a Parent’s Worst Nightmare?

Prairie View Prevention Services endeavors to keep the public aware of national and local trends in drug and alcohol use and abuse. They’ve worked with HenkinSchultz on an important campaign targeting underage drinking and driving called “Parents Matter” – and this year was the 10th Anniversary. The theme for this year’s campaign was personally developed and overseen by HenkinSchultz President and co-founder Kirby Schultz. “Parents Worst Nightmare” is a simple, yet chilling spot that said a whole lot without words. How Do You Move the Masses When the Masses are Moving?

Trade shows can be a huge marketing opportunity and also a huge challenge. We encourage our clients to ‘think outside the booth’ when putting together a trade show action plan. You may only have a couple of seconds to grab the attention of a trade show attendee, so you need to make sure every part of the booth sends a consistent message about your brand. From the clothing your employees are wearing while working the booth, to the layout of the table and displays themselves, no detail is too small. It’s important to make sure that everyone and everything you…

Who is Protecting Your Brand?

A brand means many things. It can be a name you recognize instantly or the way your customers feel about you. It can be a stunning design and a message about who you are at your core. With so much invested in your business and brand, it’s extremely important to protect both. Simple things like a great logo and consistency in the use, appearance, color and tone of your marketing materials make a big difference in breaking through the clutter of the competition. Your brand should not only be recognized, it should be repeated, respected and give your clients a…
