We love to talk to our HS family about what they bring to the workplace. And since our dogs are like family, too, we thought HearSay should spend a little time talking to our couple favorite four-legged friends.
So Kewley, you’ve been a regular at HS for a long time. What keeps you coming back?
I’m a rare breed that I LOVE to be in meetings. And if that meeting is in the Pomp Room with a few dropped snack crumbs, all the better.
What’s a typical workday look like for you?
Supervising comes very naturally to me. When my bestie, Melissa, is knee deep in web projects, I keep an eye on the goings-on across the street at Tavern 180. If there’s another dog within a hundred feet, I’ll sniff them out for sure. In this business, you need a keen eye for detail.
You’ve made quite a reputation for yourself in fashion, too.
Dressing up is fun. I work hard when I come in and I play hard when I go home. So, there’s no reason not to look fabulous while doing it.
That brings us to Bart, a relative newcomer to the office. Bart, what has been your experience so far?
Well, Joey has been a great mentor on the video side of things. I did a short internship as a pro”dog”tion assistant, which was fun, but I’m really looking to contribute full time.
What is it about the office culture you love?
If there’s breakfast, I want to be a part of it. All day. If there’s hijinx or bunnies to be chased, count me in. I also do a pretty mean Conga.
With all that activity, how do you relax in your spare time?
I love a cold drink on a hot day, but I have to practice moderation. It’s been said I can’t handle my licker.
Clever. Thank you so much for making some time for HearSay.
Woof. I’m out.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this edition of HearSay going to the dogs. To learn more about our culture and how you may contribute to the pack, reach out.
